Brainpickings at 10

Brainpickings is now 10 years old, and I feel the need to share the marvelous Maria Popova's comments on the anniversary of her fantastic mailing list. If you don't know about Brainpickings, now is the time you should discover it. Or at least read Maria's "learnings" (included in the link I've given) to which she has now added a 10th entry. The new entry includes, amongst a ton of other wisdom, the great quote:
